Some before game recommendations:
Spaghetti or Oatmeal (2 hours before - high lasting energy)
Banana (1 hour before - energy and helps prevent cramping)
**Water - it is great to stay hydrated before and during play!!
After game/practice recommendations:
Glass of chocolate milk (helps recovery)
After game/practice - before bed snack recommendations:
String Cheese -Yogurt - Boiled egg - Jerky - Jello (all help recovery over night)
Rest is also very important!!
