Registration for all new hockey players is still available at the MJHC Office in the Lakeview Arena during posted office hours.
Our "Learn to Skate" program is USA Hockey’s' Skill Development Program.
The Skill Development Program is a FUN program designed for the beginning player ages 8 years old and under, and will introduce them to the cross ice program. This USA Hockey sponsored program uses a nationally developed curriculum to teach your players the basic skills needed to play and enjoy hockey.
The cost of the 4 month program is $95.00, which includes 2 hours of ice time per week, a jersey that they can keep, a hockey stick and a goodie bag. The program meets twice a week, on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm and Saturdays at 11:30 am, and runs from the first Wednesday in October through the last Wednesday in February. You will need to bring with you to registration a bar coded USA Hockey registration, which is available online, and an MJHC Registration Form (downloadable below), plus a readable copy of the players birth certificate.
The program is sponsored by Dr. Randy Folker, MD, and the Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of Marquette P.C.
