SPECIAL NOTICE

At a Special Meeting of the MJHC Board of Directors on Wednesday, August 30, the Board took the following action:

Approved the adoption of a "Developmental Team Philosophy" which would allow second year players on all travel teams in all age groups.

The following "guidelines" were also approved:

1. Developmental Teams shall be composed of no more than 50% of players in their second year of eligibility unless there are not enough first year players to comprise a team. Exceptions are to be granted by the MJHC Board on an individual basis.

2. No player who is selected for a "AA" team may leave that team to participate on a Developmental Team.

3. Coaches of any Developmental Team will be encouraged to select as many players as possible from the players trying out, sill allowing the team to remain competitive.

4. Players are not required to tryout for a "AA" Team to be eligible for the Developmental Team.

5. Developmental Teams are not eligible for MAHA District or State Tournaments.

6. Developmental team coaches will be strongly encouraged to schedule less than 50 games per season.

 THIS POLICY IS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!
